  Staropramen on draft when I walked in was a good sign.
  Welcomed promptly and politely.
  And guided quickly to a table.
  Chairs upholstered, softer than my preference.
  Menu to the point and with many items I found interesting / attractive.
  Ditto the specials.
  Flexibility was offered by the lady presenting the specials, which I took advantage of, prefering mash to chips.
  The food came quickly, was well presented, nothing fancy just right, and tasted delicious.
  I expect to eat here again, happily.

  We have been searching for a quality country pub near Cardiff for ages. Finally we found one. There is a great selection to choose from the menu, far more variety then most places seem to offer, and it is all cook to perfection. Hats off to the chef and kitchen staff and I really must commend the high standard of service provided at front of house as well. I had "Chicken Madeira -
  A chicken breast with Madeira and mushroom sauce, served with seasonal vegetables and
  your choice of potatoes" and my partner had "Rump of Welsh Lamb
  Served with a Parisian potato and fine bean duo, flavoured with a pea and mint infusion" FANTASTIC! ... and thank you to the lady & Spanish gentleman that looked after us (14:00 26/01/2017) Very professional and helpful. From Matt & Monica

  Amazing food. Amazing service. Came here with my Mrs and we both had amazing time. Food and drink top quality. You must try it. Will be going back again. Will recommend to friends and family.. Thank you to all the staff..
